This is something I made quite a while ago and always wanted to show, but forgot.
Last time I was in Japan I saw this really awesome keychain-thingy in Wonder Rocket.
It was a plastic ball with moss and fake roses in it. It looked awesome, but was like $10 and I wasn't really willing to pay that.
When I returned home I decided to just do such a Mori Girl accessory myself. I already have tons of fake flowers, leaves, moss and other things like this at home because I like to do small accessories, mostly necklaces and headbands, from time to time. The only thing I needed was the plastic ball with a hook so you could actually attach it to something. Luckily I found something like this on Ebay, so instead of paying $10 for it, my only expenses were around $1 for a plastic ball and it turned out to look pretty close to what I had seen at Wonder Rocket.
That's the result:
Creating these was easy as all you need is the plastic ball and stuff to put inside. I used fake flowers, some pearls and moss to put inside and a bit of lace band for decoration, but you can basically put almost everything inside and arrange it nicely.
I wish I had more time for crafting....

ReplyDeleteMir ist eingefallen, dass ich so ne kugel als herz habe... es ist nur ziemlich groß... aber ich denke das macht nicht so viel. aber wie ist das eigentlich mit dem moos... kann man da vielleicht auch echtes rein machen?
ReplyDeleteJa, natürlich! Ich habe auch echtes Moos drin. Das meiste Moos dass du als "Bastelmoos" kaufen kannst ist auch echtes Moos.
DeleteIch hab jetzt kein moos drin, sondern aus meinen plastik planzen ein paar halme abgeschnitten und mit ner plastik mohnblume zu nem kleinen straus gebunden. mit ner weißen feder auch aus plastik^^
Deletedie blume ist jetzt zwar etwas gequetscht aber es geht noch^^
Kennst du eigentlich die Künstlerin Amy Sol?
Ich finde ihre bilder total friedlich und naturverbunden auch wenn sie sehr surreal sind^^

I saw it on WR site and I tougth it might be easy and cheaper to do at home too. Yours is way cuter than the original!
ReplyDeleteI thought of using one of the transparent balls you get when you buy charms and so on at the dispensers on the streets and using a piece of ribbon wedged in the closing as a hook.
